Arkey Blue is a Bandera icon. He has owned and operated the Silver Dollar Saloon on Main Street for over 45 years. Arkey Blue and the Blue Cowboys perform at the Silver Dollar almost every Saturday. He has been honored as an inductee into the Bandera Music Hall of Fame twice, receiving the Living Legend and Song Writer awards. Arkey's original songs have been aired world wide.

Chrome Pony Band is a five piece classic rock band. Two guitarists, bass guitarist, drums and keyboards, vocalists. Everything from Pink Floyd and the Doobie Brothers to Fleetwood Mac and Patsy Cline. Founded in 2009 and based in Pipe Creek. Native Texan, Gary Lewis, is not only a Bandera musician, but a Veteran of two tours in Viet Nam. His love of country music brought him to Bandera in 2009 and he "landed" the position as bass player for legendary Arkey Blue and the Blue Cowboys at the Silver Dollar. And, as they say "The rest is history."
San Antonio native, Jody Jenkins, is carrying on a family tradition. His love of music was passed down to him from his grandfather and father. Jody is now fronting his own band, The Jody Jenkins Band. In his live show, he combines contemporary country covers, original tunes and classic rock.
