Saturday afternoons (if they are not performing out of town) you can catch the Bandera Cattle Company's "gunfighter reenactments" at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM at City Plaza across from the Bandera County Court House.
You might also see one or more of the following cowboy exhibits in front of the Bandera County Court House or strolling down Main Street: Cowboys on horse back, chuck wagons, longhorn steers, cowboy musicians and character reenactors.
As part of "Celebrate Bandera" on the Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day Weekend, the National Professional Bull Riders Association offers two nights of bull riding excitement. The event begins at 7:30 PM.
Voted three times as the nation's best small town rodeo. 30th annual PRCA Pro Rodeo. The 2013 Memorial Weekend Rodeo will be held on May 24, 25 and 26 at Mansfield Park. Performances are at 8 pm all 3 nights. Events include Bull Riding, Barrel Racing, Bareback Riding and more! CCRA will host its 6th annual BBQ Cook-Off this year at Mansfield Park RV Campground. Activities for the kids include Mutton Bustin', Calf Scramble and Stickhorse Races. The 13th annual 'Boot Kickin' Golf Tournament will tee-off at the Flying L Golf Course.
