Saturday afternoons (if they are not performing out of town) you can catch the Bandera Cattle Company's "gunfighter reenactments" at Noon and 2:00 PM at City Plaza across from the Bandera County Court House. Please refer to our weekly calendar of events for updates.
Mid-March through November you might also see one or more of the following cowboy exhibits in front of the Bandera County Court House or strolling down Main Street: Cowboys on horse back, chuck wagons, longhorn steers, cowboy musicians and character reenactors.
As part of "Celebrate Bandera" on the Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day Weekend, the National Professional Bull Riders Association offers two nights of bull riding excitement. The event begins at 7:30 PM.

Cross P Rodeo presents a summer Buckle Series that kicks off May 30th through July 18th, every Friday evenings beginning at 8:00 PM. In celebration of the National Day of the American Cowboy the Frontier Times Museum hosts a South Texas Ranch Rodeo. Ranch Rodeos features teams of cowboys competing in events that highligh the skills used by working cowboys on ranches. Preceding the rodeo a match horse race will be held.
