Music has always been a large part of life in Bandera. It is so important in fact, that Bandera boasts its own Bandera Music Hall of Fame to honor the folks that keep the tradition alive and well.
And folks have been dancing the night away since the beginning. Today you can find live music just about every day. Whether it is a songwriters circle, jam session or full sound of a country western band, the Bandera hills are alive with music.
Each Thursday the Visitors Center posts a calendar of who is performing where, etc. The calendar is listed on our calendar of events section.

Live Music Fri, Sat, Sun and sometimes on Wednesdays. Karaoke on Thursday. Longhorn Saloon Trail Ride Ride every Sun. Gather at Noon. Ride out at 12:15 PM for a ride around town. Return at 3:00 PM for guitar pickin' or live band at 5:00 PM. All ages welcome. Folks can follow trail riders and enjoy the stops along the way.
Live music Thursday and Saturday. Friday you are the DJ. Chikin Coop will pay you to play the Juke Box. Jam session Sunday afternoon. Call for schedule.
