As you are preparing for family and friends to visit or you are beginning your travels here are a few hints to make your holiday in Bandera more enjoyable.
First, if you are welcoming family to your home, remember to get the turkey out of the freezer to thaw. For a fun experience take your thawed turkey and guests to 11th Street Cowboy Bar on Wednesday evening for their Annual Turkey Fry. That's right, they'll have the equipment, you just bring the turkey and of course there is music and dancing as well. It's a twist on the weekly Steak Night.
If you are not planning to cook we have listed all the places that will be open on Thanksgiving serving meals. Best get a reservation. Or you can join folks at a local watering hole for great pot luck Thanksgivings and to cheer on your favorite football team.
Avoid the big city crowds of Black Friday and enjoy leisurely shopping with friendly merchants right here in Bandera.
No matter how you spend the holiday take a minute to pause, reflect and give thanks.
