Pack up the family and head to the river! This home has access to two miles of the crystal clear Bandera River just 10 minutes from Bandera’s fun shops, restaurants and honky tonks. There are three bedrooms, one and a half baths and the house can sleep up to fourteen. It sits high on a ridge above the river with a sturdy staircase leading down to a large gently sloping meadow that ends at the river’s bank. It’s the perfect spot for swimming, tubing, kayaking and fishing. Wildlife abounds in the meadow as the deer and turkey come in for water.
The house is bright and inviting due to the many windows across the back looking out to the deck. There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining seating for ten plus breakfast bar seating for four. There are two sitting areas inside and a large outdoor deck overlooking the river with a table and seating for four and four additional Adirondack chairs. A chiminea and more seating are located at the front patio entrance. The first bedroom has a double bed, the second has a double bed and a double futon and the third has a Queen and a twin daybed. There are four air mattresses and with the sofa in the living room fourteen guests can be accommodated. The full bath has a shower only. The four window units cool and heat the house and there are ceiling fans throughout. There is no TV but the house does have internet via satellite. The washer and dryer are in the carport. All bed and bath linens are provided. Cell service on AT&T, no house phone.
