This family-owned and operated ranch is run by Harrieth Stewart and Tom Lamonica, who bring decades of horsemanship and riding experience from around the world. Harrieth, originally from Finland, has worked across multiple equestrian disciplines and specializes in training, rehabilitation, and equine-assisted learning. Tom, raised in Colorado, spent years cowboying and wrangling at guest ranches across the Southwest, focusing on safe, skill-based riding experiences.
The ranch is also home to Major Hope Corral, a rescue and retraining program built on the belief that every horse deserves a purpose. Guests have the unique opportunity to learn true horsemanship, participate in daily ranch work, and ride outside the typical “nose-to-tail” trail format, in downtown Bandera even! All rides are pre-booked, and visits are by appointment only, as this is a private ranch.
The ranch is located just outside Bandera city limits, providing privacy while remaining close to town. Accommodations are shared cabins, with meals included.
