Enjoy the dark sky during the new moon phase, take a look through a telescope, and listen to constellation stories.
When: Ongoing between 6:30pm and 8pm
Where to meet: In the pollinator garden/wildlife viewing area, near the HQ building.
What to bring: Dress for the weather. Bring your own water and any snacks you'd like. Bring your own flashlight. Bringing a red flashlight is recommended if you have one; red cellophane will be provided to cover white light flashlights. Bringing binoculars and a folding chair are recommended but not required.
Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is $6 per visitor 13 years and up; free for visitors 12 year and younger; free to visitors with a Texas State Park Pass.
Please use the self-pay station located in front of the HQ building if arriving after office hours. The self-pay station takes cash (exact change), check, reservation, or Texas State Parks Pass only.
