Bandera Stompede: Bring Back the Blue Jean Flag! 👖
We’re reviving a true Bandera tradition—starting June 21st, local businesses and residents are invited to hang a pair of blue jeans like a flag outside your storefront or home!

This year we will fly the jean flags through July 26th in celebration of the Smithsonian’s Crossroads: Change in Rural America exhibit.

Our goal? To make this a yearly tradition, kicking off each year on the Memorial Day Rodeo & Stompede Parade, and flying the jeans through National Day of the American Cowboy.

Want to join in? 🎨 The First National Ice Haus is hosting a Paint & Sip Party on June 13th at 6PM—bring your own jeans (the bigger, the better!) and they’ll supply the paint and tools.
