Medina
Medina
In the past, Medina was dubbed the "Apple Capital of Texas" due to it's abundance of apple orchards. An amazing apple stop is The Apple Store. All different kinds of products and treats can be purchased here, such as apple ice cream, apple cider vinegar, flaky apple turnovers, apple cider syrup, cookies, sandwiches, and much more. Due to the recent draughts, the apple orchards have deminised. Love Creek Orchards were pioneers of the Texas Apple Industry when Baxter and Carol Adams planted their first experimental apple orchards in 1981. Little did they know that their experiment would not only produce such wonderful sweet apples, but would also start a new industry for the state of Texas.
